We’re looking for a motivated sales development rep to join our business development team. The sales rep will be working closely with DBNY founders to seek out new business opportunities, qualify new leads through our systemized sales process, and continue to manage the pipeline of new business.
Through the SDR role, you will gain a deep understanding of DBNY’s services and capabilities in eCommerce design and technology. The candidate should be an individual who thrives on seeking out new prospects via outbound activities and consistently delivers a quota of qualified opportunities. Candidate will learn how to identify and research targeted lists of prospective leads and nurture them into qualified opportunities to hand off to Account Reps to close.
- Learn and execute on a systemized outbound sales process
- Create rich content for email campaign efforts
- Create and maintain detailed sales documentation and guides
- Research and build outbound contact lists for prospecting
- Outbound prospecting for new contacts in eCommerce
- Assess prospect needs, qualify the prospect, and book meetings for further engagement
- Work in tandem with Business Development Account team in researching targets and identifying key contacts
- Utilize marketing automation and CRM tools to manage sales pipeline while maintaining accurate information about prospects and their companies
- Manage and maintain a monthly quota of qualified opportunities and closed business
- Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities
- Communicate with top level executives in targeted prospect accounts about their business needs
Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience in advertising sales is a plus
- A people person with an aptitude for social intelligence and high EQ
- A go-getter, proactive, and self-sufficient
- Natural self starter that can work in full autonomy
- Master organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation and communicative skills via email and phone
